Dave Murray’s Latest STL forecast and weather disco…THURSDAY…July 16, 2015:

***Thursday is the transition day as a warm front bows up and over us…a few spot storms…turning warmer and more humid going thru the afternoon…hot and humid…pure summer for Friday and the weekend.***

THURSDAY:

Partly sunny…a few spot storms…turning warm and humid for the afternoon
WINDS: South 5-15 M.P.H.
HIGH: 92 degrees

THURSDAY NIGHT:

Partly cloudy…HUMID
WINDS: South 10-15 M.P.H.
LOW: 75 DEGREES.

FRIDAY:

Partly sunny…hot and humid
WINDS: South 5-15 M.P.H.
HIGH: 94 DEGREES

THE WEATHER DISCO:

Thursday…a warm front will lift up and over us…maybe a spot storm…the summer high takes over…with increasing temperatures and humidity…then back in full force for Friday and the weekend…and lasting into next week. I do not think this is a long last heat wave…as we battle back and forth between this extension of the Bermuda high and the northwest flow…with a solid break arriving around the 24th of July. Also…expecting an up-tick in the Atlantic hurricane season over the next 3 weeks…look for home grown development…meaning in close along the coastline.
