UNION, MO (KTVI) – Five men are accused of luring a couple to a Union home earlier this week and holding the couple at gunpoint.
According to a spokesperson for the Union Police Department, a 25-year-old Union man and his 22-year-old wife went to a residence in the 800 block of W. Park on Monday evening. The two were suspected of taking property from a person’s trailer and were being held at gunpoint as a result.
Police identified and arrested the five individuals, charging them each with two counts of kidnapping, two counts of unlawful use of a weapon, and two counts of armed criminal action.
The suspects were identified as:
32-year-old William Gassner
25-year-old Calum Rogers
34-year-old Jeremy Barbarick
32-year-old Jimme Reynolds
27-year-old Lucas Reynolds
Authorities went to the home and found five handguns, illegal drugs, and cash.
Their bonds were each set at $100,000 cash-only.
They remain in custody at the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department.
