SB I-55 closed near Pevely due to overturned tractor trailer

PEVELY, MO (KTVI)- Southbound Interstate 55 is closed near Pevely, Missouri due to an overturned tractor trailer. The accident happened around 5a.m. near mile marker 179. Investigators say the 18-wheeler struck an abandoned vehicle, flipped and went off of the road.

The driver is being examined for injuries.
