ST. LOUIS (KTVI) - The You Paid For It Team shines the spotlight on St. Louis Collector of Revenue Gregg Daly, one of the highest paid officials with a city take home car that taxpayers bought.

You pay Daly $177,000 a year, yet he has one of the newest take home cars that you also pay to gas up.

But unlike some other Elected Officials with cars, Daly doesn't want to give his up, although he said he would if ordered to do so by the city's Capitol Committee.

Elected Officials without cars include Mayor Slay who doesn't have one, Board President Lewis Reed who gave his back, and Recorder of Deeds Sharon Carpenter who didn't take one.

After her run in with the You Paid For It Team Comptroller Darlene Green says she'll give her's back too.

But for now at least Gregg Daly is holding on to his $32,000 car paid for by the taxpayers.
