Brentwood starts construction of new walkway to access Brentwood I-64 MetroLink Station

BRENTWOOD, MO (KTVI) - On Monday work on a new walkway was started to make transit easier for Metrolink riders. For customers who stop at the Brentwood I-64 station, access to the Dierberg's Pointe Shopping Plaza at Eager Road is a welcomed change.

The Brentwood station is currently averaging more than 28,000 boardings per nonth. Parts of the west pedestrian ramp will temporarily close while work is underway. The walkway is funded by the Hanley Road Corridor Transportation Development District and will take two months to complete.
