JEFFERSON CITY, MO (KTVI) – A Mega Millions ticket sold in Missouri matched all six numbers for the $25 million July 31 drawing.

This is the first Mega Millions jackpot ticket to be sold in Missouri. The exact location of the sale was not disclosed.

The winning numbers were: 28, 32, 33, 40, 46, and the Mega Ball number was 10.

May Reardon, executive director of the Missouri Lottery, said the winner should sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe, secure location until they’re able to bring it to the Missouri Lottery Headquarters in Jefferson City to claim the prize. Reardon also suggested the winner may want to seek legal or financial advice before making the trip.

The jackpot winner has 180 days to claim their prize; this would give the winner from Friday night until January 27, 2016.

The winner can elect to receive a lump-sum payment or 30 annuity payments over 29 years.

Since the game came to Missouri in January 2010, 31 Missouri players have won $250,000 in prizes. Another six players have won the $1 million prize.
