EUREKA, MO (KTVI) - The ALS Association  is re-launching the ice bucket challenge that was wildly popular on social media last August. The St. Louis chapter of  the ALS Association kicked off the local viral campaign by challenging FOX2/KPLR News 11 anchor/reporter Dan Gray.  So live on FOX 2 this morning, Dan got the ice bucket treatment at Hurricane Harbor at Six Flags.

"Woo, oh yeah, that takes your breath away!" was Dan's response as the ice and cold water crashed on top of his head.

Dan challenged Six Flags President Dave Roemer and he accepted.  He also challenged Meteorologist John Fuller and Sports Director Rich Gould.

The ice bucket challenge this August is getting some pinch hitting help from Major League Baseball.  All the teams will take part in the ice bucket challenge to raise money and awareness for  Lou Gehrig's disease, so look for the Cardinals to do it sometime this month.
