Dave Murray’s Latest STL forecast and weather disco…TUESDAY…August 4, 2015:

A mix of clouds and sun…a few spot storms…no all day rain
WINDS: East 5-15 M.P.H.
HIGH: 88 degrees

TUESDAY NIGHT:

Mostly cloudy with scattered rain and storms…heavy rain at times…especially late night
WINDS: East 5-10 M.P.H.
LOW:69 DEGREES.

WEDNESDAY:

Periods of rain and storms…heavy rain at times
WINDS: East 5-15 M.P.H.
HIGH: 82 DEGREES

THE WEATHER DISCO:

Welcome to August… as the summer flys by…high school sports get going. The key this week is the northwest flow…and in that flow a surface front will get stuck and become the running board for waves of rain and storms…again the best shot will be Tuesday night and Wednesday and Wednesday night…and look for a slow and steady slide in temperatures all week long…cool for August by the end of the week and into the up-coming weekend. Also watching a tropical system pushing toward the Hawaiian Islands…that would be a rare event if it holds together…especially with its east o west push…the big hurricanes that hit typically come up from the south. Interesting to watch…thank you El Nino.
