St. Louis County Police Chief comments on protest on West Florissant

FERGUSON, MO (KTVI) – Chief Jon Belmar from the St. Louis County Police is on hand in Ferguson monitoring the events happening on West Florissant. Tensions rose dramatically just before 9 pm Sunday night after beauty store was looted on West Florissant.

Police had been taking a stand-off position prior to the looting. But after securing the business, more officers were called to West Florissant with riot gear.
