CLAYTON, MO (KTVI) – Crews completed repairs on a 20-inch water main Tuesday that ruptured the day prior.
The water main break occurred Monday afternoon at S. Hanley Road and Carondelet Avenue in Clayton. Crews said they’ve been on site since about 5:30 p.m.
Drivers on their Tuesday morning rush hour commute were affected. Two southbound lanes are closed off. One lane each is open on the northbound side.
The repairs were completed by 8:15 a.m., according to Missouri American Water. The roadway should be cleared within a few hours.
