ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - Protesters made their voices heard loudly outside a meeting of the committee designed to make our municipal courts better.

Activists with MORE, Missourians Organizing for Reform and Empowerment, wanted to get into a meeting about improving St. Louis County Municipal Courts at UMSL.

MORE wants amnesty for all outstanding traffic warrants in our region and wants municipal courts consolidated. But the meeting organizers would not let MORE or the media inside.

One official told us the meeting was basically a training session on senate bill five. That new bill going into effect soon focuses on some municipal court reforms.
