Columbia police destroy bomb near hotel

COLUMBIA, MO (KTVI) – Police destroyed a device they say was capable of damage in Columbia, MO. Multiple agencies, including the FBI responded after the explosive was found near the Red Roof Inn off Providence road.

Hotel guests and staff were evacuated. A robot was used to detonate the device.
