JERSEY SHORE, PA -  A Pennsylvania crossing guard who takes his special friend to work with him every day is getting a lot of attention. Meet Patches, the crossing dog. He tags along with owner, Brad Curtis, a retired contractor, to help students safely cross the road in the Jersey Shore School District.

Curtis says the kids make him feel young and happy but it's Patches who really has people smiling. The lovable five year old Maltipoo follows Curtis wherever he goes. Like his owner, Patches wears a safety vest to work and has his own little stop sign.

Curtis says he will bring Patches along with him to work until the winter weather hits.
