ST. CHARLES, MO (KTVI) - The Patriot Guard honored and escorted a local Marine to his final resting place Saturday.  They created a flag line to pay respect to 22-year-old Corporal Jonathan Miles Gee.

The St. Charles Marine was found unresponsive in his room at joint base Myer-Henderson Hall in northern Virginia August 29th.

An investigation into his death is ongoing.

Gee enlisted in August 2012 and earned several awards and medals including the Navy and Marine Achievement Medal.
