JEFFERSON COUNTY, MO (KTVI) – The man dubbed ‘The JeffCo Creeper’ and another man have been charged in connection with thefts from a Festus-area home

Rickie Wells and Darmand Broyles are accused of stealing more than $10,000 worth of tools and other items in two separate burglaries from the home.

Investigators said it was Wells who was caught on a neighbor’s trail camera in the woods, not far from the home that was broken into.

The once mysterious photo had residents posting on social media in hopes of identifying the suspect.
