COLUMBIA, MO (KTVI) – Four players on the University of Missouri football team were involved in a two-car accident Friday afternoon near the campus.

The accident happened around 4 p.m. Freshman Terry Beckner Jr. was driving with three teammates, DeSean Blair, Keyon Dilosa, and Trevon Walters.

Beckner and Dilosa were treated at the scene and released, according to the Columbia Daily-Tribune. Walters and Blair were taken to University Hospital as a precaution for minor injuries.

It is unclear how this will affect the game time status for Beckner, Blair, and Dilosa. Walters has a knee injury and hasn’t played for Mizzou thus far this season.

Blair was named the spring team’s ‘most improved’ wide receiver.  Dilosa, a red shirt freshman, caught three passes in the season opener against Southeast Missouri.
