ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Police are taking their recruitment efforts to high school students Friday. Police Chief Sam Dotson and Missouri Attorney General Chirs Koster will speak to students at Vashon High School. They want to encourage students to consider careers in law enforcement.

It’s the first in a series of planned visits to city schools. Officials want to increase diversity in police agencies so they better reflect the communities they serve.
