Body pulled from Mississippi River identified

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - St. Louis police have identified a man whose body was pulled from the Mississippi River last week.

They identified 36-year-old Dominic Smith, of the 4700 block of Oldenburg, from his tattoos. The medical examiner's office determined Smith died from a gunshot wound to the upper body.

The investigation continues into who killed him.
