ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- A local cyber bullying crusader is showing her support for an anti-bullying expert featured in a new documentary. It's called, 'A Brave Heart: The Lizzie Velasquez Story.'

Tina Meier talks about her daughter Megan's story in the film.

In 2006, the Dardenne Prairie teen took her own life after being bullied online. Lizzie, the subject of the film, was also bullied online being called the "ugliest woman alive".

Tina founded the Megan Meier Foundation after her daughter's death to stop bullying and cyberbullying.

She joined us on FOX 2 News in the Morning with more and the film and the impact she hopes it makes.
