Man shot in arm while at stop sign near Carondelet Park

ST. LOUIS (AP) _ Police are investigating after a driver was shot by someone in another vehicle while stopped in a St. Louis street near Carondelet Park.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports the 24-year-old victim was injured Sunday evening. According to police, the victim honked at a vehicle stopped at a stop sign, before the other driver waved for him to go around. Police say the suspect yelled an obscenity at the victim before someone in the suspect’s car fired shots, striking the victim in the arm.

The victim, who had a 19-year-old woman and a 4-year-old girl with him in the car, drove himself to a hospital for treatment.

No arrests have been made in the incident.
