BACK@YOU looking for volunteers with scarf skills

ST. LOUIS (KTVI) - A local agency works to make sure homeless people have backpacks full of cold-weather gear, but volunteers are needed to make scarves.

BACK@YOU stands for "Because Awareness, Compassion, and Kindness Yield Open Understanding" for the homeless. On October 10, 2015, the group will give out backpacks filled with items to help those living on the street survive cold temperatures.

The bags have already been filled. But, BACK@YOU is seeking volunteers who can knit or crochet scarves. If you have some serious scarf skills, learn more at
