CLAYTON, MO (KTVI) – A landlord license bill was voted down in St. Louis County Tuesday night.  Twenty-five people spoke out at tonight’s county council meeting before the members made the decision to not pass the bill.

The ordinance threatened property owners with the loss of the rental license, fines and jail time if a tenant is cited three times over a 12 month period for nuisance violations.
