Cardinals Wednesday Workout: Molina Tests Thumb, Lackey to Start Game One of NLDS

It was a busy off day for the playoff bound St. Louis Cardinals on Wednesday at Busch Stadium. Manager Mike Matheny announced John Lackey as the Cardinals game one starting pitcher. Catcher Yadier Molina had a full workout with catching drills and batting practice as Molina trys to return from a torn ligament in his left thumb.

Game One of the NLDS between the Cardinals and Cubs is set for 5:45 PM at Busch Stadium. It's a best of five series between the two long time rivals.
