Parents and students voice concern over gun brought to high school

UNIVERSITY CITY, MO (KTVI) – Wednesday night school safety on the minds of University City High School parents, just days after a gun went off at the   school.  Concerned parents and students met with district officials behind closed doors about a gun that was brought to school last week.

A shot was fired inside a bathroom that hit the floor, injuring no one.

Two 17-year-old students were arrested.

Many parents say they felt the district could have provided more timely information about the incident.
