Whole Foods hosts chili cook-off benefit

TOWN AND COUNTRY, MO (KTVI) – Whole Foods Market in Town and Country is hosting its Fifth Annual Grass Fed Beef Chili Cook-Off this Sunday to benefit local nonprofits.

Whole Foods spokesperson Marcia Whelan visits Fox 2 News to discuss the event.

Whole Foods Market staff are preparing their very best chili recipes and competing for the 'Best Chili' title and the chance to win $500 towards their charity of choice. Customers will sample the recipes and vote for the winner.

Customers who vote are automatically entered into a drawing to win a $100 Whole Foods Market gift card. Celebrity judges will cast a vote resulting in an additional $500 donation to a local charity.

The cook-off runs 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
