ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – Cardinals and Cubs fans say you could feel the excitement in the air and they are confident the Cardinals will pull though at the end of the series. Although the Cardinals lost 6 to 3 to the Cubs, and the series is tied at a game apiece, most fans agree this is a very exciting match up.

Fans say it’s a match up many fans wanted to happen for a very long time.

As fans from both teams left Busch Stadium Saturday night, most agree it’s nothing more thrilling than watching the teams go head to head.

“I love it; I could not image a better division series. It’s great but on Monday St. Louis is going to bring it back,” said one Cardinals fan.

“We need that big win, means a lot. We are hoping for another win, we need one more,” said one Cubs fan.

Many say this is one of the biggest rivalries in Major League Baseball.  Now Cardinals fans are preparing to head to Wrigley Field in Chicago for game three.
