Blues Win 4-2 in Edmonton

Vladimir Tarasenko scored his third goal of the young NHL season to help the Blues to a 4-2 win over the Oilers on Thursday night in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The Blues fell behind 1-0 just a little over a minute into the game. Jori Lehtera’s goal tied the game at 1-1 later in the first period. Tarasenko’s goal right off the faceoff gave the Blues a 2-1 lead in the second period. Paul Stastny and Alexander Steen scored third period goals to finish off the 4-2 win. Goalie Brian Elliott stopped 24 of 26 shots to get the win in goal. The win gives the Blues a 3-1 record so far this season.
