JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) – A national audit and tax advisory firm is expanding in St. Louis and could get more than $7 million in Missouri incentives.

Gov. Jay Nixon on Tuesday announced that KPMG LLP is creating 175 new information technology jobs in the next three years.

That would up the company’s total St. Louis workforce to 445 jobs. A statement from Nixon’s office says the company opened its St. Louis location in 1911.

Department of Economic Development spokeswoman Amy Susan says the company could receive $7.4 million in incentives intended to help with the expansion. The business must meet certain job creation criteria.
