New book is a championship blueprint for any high school coach

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- Jim Linhares is the current Assistant Principal at Saint Louis University High School and former head Cross Country Track and Field coach. Along with Co-Author Ben Rosario, Jim is the author of a new book, Tradition Class Pride: Building A Cross Country Dynasty. Linhares is a member of the Missouri Track and Cross Country Coaches Hall of Fame and his teams won four Missouri State Championships and were among the best teams in the region for over 20 years.

The book looks at the secrets to building a high school cross country dynasty, covering everything from pre-season parent meetings to post-season awards banquets, and all that training and work in between.
