ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- CBS Sports reports that NFL player Reggie Bush has hired an attorney and plans to sue the city of St. Louis after suffering a season-ending knee injury during a game against the St. Louis Rams on November 1.

Bush, a running back for the San Francisco 49ers, slipped on concrete surrounding the field at the Edward Jones Dome and fell, tearing his ACL. The Dome is owned and operated by the city of St. Louis through the St. Louis Regional Sports Authority.

The article says Bush’s suit will likely seek gross negligence given the danger of having such a slippery surface around the playing field.

On October 25, Cleveland Browns quarterback Josh McCown ran across the sideline at the Dome and then slipped on the concrete, crashing into a wall. He injured his shoulder.
