ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-A new children’s book out just in time for the holidays was created by an author and illustrator right here in St. Louis. It’s called "There's a Mouse on My Head!" and is about an imaginative little boy who doesn't want to eat his peas and cheese.  He comes up with a great idea. He tells his grandmother his mouse is hungry and wants to eat his peas and the rest of his dinner too.

"There's a Mouse on My Head!" can be purchased at Imagination Toys in Ladue, Webster Groves Book Shop, Amazon and Barnes & Nobel online. Donna Warwick, the author, and Dayne Sislen, the illustrator, will be signing books at the "Local Author Event" sponsored by the St. Charles County Public Library at the Spencer Road Branch at 6:30 pm, Thursday, November 19, 2015.

"There's a Mouse on My Head!" is aimed at kids 2-8 years old, their parents, and grandparents.
