Six injured in school bus accident in Midtown

ST. LOUIS (KTVI) - Six people were injured in a school bus accident Tuesday morning in the Grand Center neighborhood, the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department said.

According to police, the accident occurred just after 6:55 a.m. at the intersection of N. Grand Boulevard and E. Cook Avenue.

A woman driving an Oldsmobile was traveling southbound on Grand when she ran a red light and struck the bus.

The school bus was carrying four high school-age children. They were taken to a local hospital to be treated for minor injuries. The bus driver and woman behind the wheel of the Oldsmobile were not seriously injured.
