Mizzou head coach Gary Pinkel's final home game at Faurot Field ended in a 19-8 loss to Tennessee on Saturday night in Columbia, MO. The Vols built a 9-0 lead on three field goals by Aaron Medley. Tennessee quarterback Joshua Dobbs scored the Vols only touchdown on an 8-yard run with 17 seconds to go in the first half. The Volunteers (7-4, 4-3 SEC) have won four in a row.

Mizzou finally cracked the scoreboard in the fourth quarter when Drew Lock scored on a 1-yard quarterback keeper on fourth-and-goal with 9:49 to go. Lock the tossed a pass to Jason Reese for a 2-point conversion.

Missouri (5-6, 1-6) needs a victory in their season finale at Arkansas to avoid just the second losing record in the last 11 under Pinkel, who holds the school career record with 118 victories in 15 seasons. Pinkel was carried off the field by his team despite the loss in another emotional moment for the out going coach.

Fox 2 multimedia journalist David Cruse was in Columbia for Coach Pinkel's emotional goodbye.
