CAHOKIA, IL (KTVI) - The You Paid For It Team investigates what seems to be a case of blatant Nepotism in Cahokia when the man at the top, the Village Mayor, gives his own brother a $30,000 lawn cutting contract.

Investigator Elliott Davis questioned Mayor Curtis McCall who defends this deal saying there's nothing wrong with it.

Cahokia residents blasting the arrangement see a lot wrong saying others should have been able to get this work rather than the Mayors giving it to his family member.

The Mayor's Brother Kerchavian, owns a company called Premier Landscaping that cuts grass.

The Mayor and Board of Trustees gave him the contract to cut grass for the Village. Premier made $31,640 over a 3 month period.

When asked about the deal, the Mayor said residents voted for change when they elected him in April. He added, "This is what change looks like".
