ST. LOUIS (KTVI) - From snowball fights to gingerbread houses, the White House is a treasure trove of holiday traditions. Every year since 1981, the White House Historical Association has had the privilege of designing the official White House Christmas ornament. These unique collectibles – honoring individual presidents or specific white house anniversaries – have become part of the holiday tradition of millions of American families.

HGTV design star Genevieve Gorder joins Fox 2 News live via satellite from New York to discuss the inspiration and history behind this year’s ornament.
