FLORISSANT, MO (KTVI) - The federal government has found seven more properties near Coldwater Creek with radioactive contamination left over from a World War II nuclear weapons program. According to our partners at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, three residential properties and four commercial properties near the creek are contaminated and may need to be cleaned up.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is already removing waste from other sites. They will update their progress at a meeting for residents on Wednesday, December 9 in Florissant.
