Vashon High School will have classes Wednesday after a bomb threat sent students home Monday afternoon. Police did a security sweep through the school and determined everything was safe.

At Windsor High School in Imperial, three students were taken into custody for making threats on social media and another threat was found scrawled on a bathroom wall. Police said the threats were not credible, but school officials acted quickly.

Administrators and the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department have interviewed students about the threats. School officials said student absences will be excused if parents decided not to send their kids to school.

There is no word if the students will face criminal charges.
