ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - MoDOT officials are monitoring traffic conditions to make decisions on road closures or other responses. They are working in tandem with various cameras across the entire state and are watching maps with instant updates. All to keep drivers safe.

The situation is tougher with roads shut down, especially if you're traveling between St. Louis and Jefferson Counties. One viewer who did that drive last night from Clayton to House Springs tells us her normal 45-minute commute took 10 1/2 hours last night. She didn't get home until 2am.
