FERGUSON, MO (KTVI) – Two men were arrested Thursday just hours after an armed robbery at a gas station parking lot in Ferguson.

The robbery occurred at the Amoco/BP station in the 1000 block of S. Florissant Road around 2 p.m. The victim, a man his mid-30s, told police he was going to sell his cell phone to two people. However, once the man arrived at the scene, one of the suspects pulled out a handgun and demanded the phone.

The victim handed over his phone and the two suspects fled. The victim was never paid for his phone.

Police said witnesses helped investigators track the suspects to a home in the 5900 block of Laurette. The suspects, identified only as men in their mid-20s, surrendered to police without incident.
