ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-With flood waters receding, those displaced by the high water are returning to their homes. When they get there, they’ll discover what, if any, damage has been done. That includes discovering sewer backups. The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District wants to be sure you notify them of those backups. You should call 1-314-768-6260 to file a report.

Crews with MSD are working around t the clock to bring their Fenton and Valley Park wastewater treatment plant back online. Sewage that would normally be treated at these plants is not being treated at this time and is diverted into nearby rivers and streams.
