Pay It Forward: Homeless pantry worker honored with award

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - Attitude is everything, right? Angie Hatchett is described as a person who always has a good attitude. The person who nominated Angie for our Pay It Forward award paid a surprise visit to where she works to present her with a $500 gift card on behalf of Fox 2 and First Bank.

"Hi Angela, on behalf of Fox 2 News and First Bank we're presenting you with $500 for the 'Pay It Forward' because you do such an exceptional job at the shelter helping the homeless people, the food pantry you are truly an outstanding individual and we love you. I really love you (they hug)" said Valerie Cox.

An emotional moment for a woman who spends everyday giving in her job as administrative coordinator for the Loaves And Fishes Homeless Shelter in Maryland Heights. But this day she was receiving.
