Bridgeton Police issue endangered person alert

Update: Bridgeton Police said late Sunday night that Stanley Higgins was located and was safe.

BRIDGETON, MO (KTVI)- Authorities need the public’s help locating a person who left DePaul Hospital just before midnight Saturday night.

Bridgeton Police issued an Endangered Person advisory after Stanley Higgins Jr, 25, left the facility. Police could not confirm if he had been released from the hospital or if he had signed himself out. Higgins had brain surgery and suffers from memory loss and seizures, according to the advisory. Police said Higgins is homeless and does not have needed medication with him.

Higgins stands 5 ft. 9 inches, 163 lbs, with brown hair, blue eyes and has surgical scars on his head. He was was last seen wearing  a light brown coat and blue jeans.
