Glazed Donut Bread Pudding Recipe

2 dozen glazed donuts, stale (if not stale, cut up in pieces and heat in warm oven to dry out)
2 cans of fruit cocktail, not drained (4.5 oz each)
1 can of sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
2 eggs, lightly beaten
2 tsp Vietnamese cinnamon
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
1/8 tsp salt

Optional topping:
1 stick of butter, melted
1 box confectioner sugar
2 tbl Rum or 1 tsp rum flavoring

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut or tear up the stale donuts in to 1' cubes. Set aside.

Place remaining ingredients in a large bowl and mix together. Add in the donuts and stir until covered. Let sit for 20 minutes, allowing the donuts to absorb the egg mixture. Pour mixture in to a greased baking dish and bake for approximately 1 hour- until the center has set. Remove from oven.

While cooling whisk together melted butter and confectioner sugar. Add rum to taste. Pour over warm bread pudding and enjoy.
