ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- Power is back on at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch after an early morning outage caused by an underground transformer fire across the street from the hotel.  That's significant because the Hyatt is the home of the very popular Cardinals Care Winter Warm Up this weekend, a celebration of the upcoming baseball season and a benefit for Cardinals Care, the Cardinals foundation.

St. Louis Firefighters and Ameren Missouri crews worked quickly to restore power. The lights were back on by 6:30am. No one was injured.

Fan didn't seem to mind the inconvenience. Early birds lined up in the dark, dealing with flashing emergency lights and fire alarms sounding.

Cardinals Care Winter Warm Up 2016 runs Saturday through Monday, January 16-18, 2016. Events begin Saturday at 9:00am.
