Accumulating snow for St. Louis overnight Tuesday into Wednesday

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - Snow is on the way. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the entire FOX 2 News viewing area through 6am Wednesday.

Cloudy and cold Tuesday, with a narrow band of snow developing between noon and 2pm to the west of St. Louis. That snow is pushing into drier air, but may put down a quick 1/2″ of snow before the evening commute.

The heaviest snow begins to move in from the west after 4pm and will spread eastward across the region throughout the evening. Total accumulations will be 2″ to 4″ overnight. Snow is done by 6am Wednesday.
