Bark in the Park raises dollars for dogs

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KTVI)- Bark in the Park, a large fundraising event put on by the Human Society of Missouri, will hold its annual event May 21, 2016.

The event, presented by Purina, will be hosted at Cricket Field in Forest Park from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Bark in the Park will feature a 5k run, a 1-mile walk and a festival fundraiser. Pet owners are encouraged to bring their dogs to the different events.

If you register by April 30, registration only costs $35. Beginning on May 1, that price will raise to $40. All funds raised at Bark in the Park will go to helping homeless animals taken in by the Humane Society of Missouri.
