ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- Georgios Kastanias is the executive chef and sales executive for a local family owned food distribution group, Moore Food. He is also the specialist for the Greek and Mediterranean products of the company.

FLAMING CHEESE SAGANAKI

  • 4 oz. kasseri cheese
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 eggs
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 lemon wedges
  • 2 oz. brandy

Directions:  Mix the eggs with milk salt and pepper.  Cut cheese into 4 triangles.  Butter with flour milk and bread crumbs 2 times and then fry in sauce pan.  Flame it with brandy, add lemon, and it’s ready to eat!
