(KTVI) - It`s been a long journey for a group over 160 people and four buses heading back to St. Louis after attending a Right to Life March in Washington, D.C.
On their way home they got stuck when a wreck and snowstorm shut down a 30 mile stretch of highway on a Pennsylvania turnpike. They were stranded for 24-hours. While the group waited with hundreds of others for the chance to roll on they shared stories and made new friends. Passengers also say they learned some valuable lessons about life along the way.
On Saturday the group made their way to a Red Cross shelter set up at a high school in Bedford, Pennsylvania and finally hit the road back to St. Louis early Sunday morning.
Passengers are expecting to make it back to St. Louis by midnight.
