St. Louis area high school students win big from Walgreens

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - Some St. Louis area high school students received a big award from Walgreens. Several teens were honored as part of the 2015 Walgreens Expressions Challenge FOR using their skills and talents in multimedia, visual arts and writing to address teen issues.

Darius Bass designed a project to help young boys develop self esteem to become successful young men.

"We need to teach the youth a better upcoming cause you know some young men don't have that guidance and have that extra push." said Darius Bass.

Several dignitaries attended the event including Congressman William Lacy Clay, St. Louis Alderwoman Marlene Davis and businessman Jaylen Bledsoe.
