Meet Ziggy the colobus monkey! St. Louis Zoo baby’s name is a nod to David Bowie

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – The St. Louis Zoo has a new arrival. A black and white colobus monkey was born on January 10th. They named him Ziggy after David Bowie who passed away on the day he was born.

Mother Cecelia, 16, has two other children, Simon and Kivuli. The family can be seen at the Primate House at the Zoo. Visitors can see the infant poking his head out to look at his new world.
